On behalf of everyone at the FIG Congress at the World Congress Centre, I am writing …to say a big, loud, thankyou to the choir for singing at the opening ceremony.
More than 2000 people were at this Opening Ceremony and they were truly delighted with the choir’s singing and with the songs. I was asked to express their appreciation to you all, in particular they mentioned the clear expression of all the words and the sweet, pure tones of the voices.
There were over 1000 visitors from 78 different countries at that opening. We Australians felt so proud of you all – you were magnificent.
